Welcome to Mirador Equestrian horse sanctuary. Our passion for horses and commitment to health and wellness drive everything we do. We offer a range of options for riders interested in contributing to our mission. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced rider, we are here to support your equestrian journey.
OUR FINCA
At Mirador Equestrian our facility is tailored to the horse. Our furry friends needs always come before ours. Our horses have over 20 acres to roam free with 150 mango trees providing shade and snacks. The viewpoints are the highlight of the finca. With multiple ocean and 360 panoramic mountain views, trails never get boring.
OUR SERVICES
Sunset Studio Ride
For this ride, grab your friends and enjoy a peaceful ride through the mountains to enjoy sunset with wine and charcuterie. Overlooking the mountains & the ocean, it provides a great experience to share with those you love.
Rescues
At our sanctuary we are able to sustainably facilitate the rehabilitation of up to two horses at a time. If you know of any horses requiring extra care, please reach out and we would be happy to help in any way that we can. We strive to improve the lives of these magnificent animals by rebuilding physical strength and regain trust. Followed by finding them a forever home so that we can start the process over again.
Trails
Experience the Costa Rican jungle on horseback, where you can observe the exotic wildlife and savor the breathtaking panoramic views. We have many different trails including ocean view & jungle rides with the option of a catered meal afterwords. We invite you to book your adventure now and create unforgettable memories.
Retreats

Events
Anything from a birthday to an ocean view proposal, we can arrange it perfectly to align with your vision. During high season we also have a weekly yoga with horses class.
Lessons
Our program is for those who are interested in learning how to take care of horses and ride them correctly. We provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge to become a well rounded equestrian. However, if you prefer a more laid-back experience, our trail option might be a better fit for you. Inquire for our weekly after school group lessons.
